Nida is a Registered Psychological Associate in Ontario providing therapy to adults, couples, and adolescents. She received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania where there is a strong focus on training in empirically validated treatments.
Nida has been working in the clinical field for 12 years and has extensive experience working with adult and adolescent clients, helping them deal with issues such as: anxiety, complex trauma, addiction, depression, postpartum depression, and family/relationship issues. In her current work, she employs an integrative approach to psychotherapy, utilizing techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
